Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries because of a fault with the electrical connections within the DX6i transmitter unit, between the control stick and potentiometers, which can cause model aeroplanes and helicopters they control to fall while in flight. The propellers can also turn unexpectedly causing injury to the user or persons standing too close to the aircraft. The product does not comply with the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC.Two incidents reported.

Product Description
The Spektrum DX6i radio transmitters are used to control model aeroplanes and helicopters. “Spektrum DX6i” is printed on the front of the transmitters. The transmitters are sold individually or as part of three different ready-to-fly model aircraft.
