Risk Description
The cords could potentially trap the child’s toes, possibly leading to injuries. The child’s nose and mouth could become stuck in the horizontal gaps between the mattress and the side of the nest, leading to a risk of suffocation. The presence of openings at the junction of the sides of the baby nest, at the end, could trap the child’s head, leading to a risk of strangulation. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 16890.

Who is at risk?
All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops. Infants and toddlers are at highest risk. Never leave plastic bags or soft materials in a sleeping area.
