The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of cadmium and lead. (measured value: up to 0.42% and 0.23% by weight, respectively). Cadmium bio-accumulates and poses a risk to the environment.Lead poses a risk to the environment. Moreover, the plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (measured values: 3.3 % and 5.1% by weight, respectively). These phthalates may pose a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
