Risk Description

The steering wheel boss which is connected to the steering column may not have the appropriate strength. In this condition, if a load is applied to the steering wheel which is higher than that applied during normal steering operation, the boss may separate from the steering column resulting in a loss of steering which could lead to an accident.

The recall concerns 2012 vehicles:·         J10 vehicles produced from 27/02/2012 to 16/05/2012 (Type Approval No.: e11*2001/116* 0295); ·         M20 vehicles produced from 27/02/2012 to 20/04/2012 (Type Approval No. e11*2007/46* 0017, e11*2007/46* 0016).
