Puzzles was recalled on 23 February 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0164/07. Suffocation risk reported by Czechia. This product poses a serious risk of suffocation because the bag made of flexible plastic with an opening perimeter greater than 380 mm has an average sheet thickness of 0,017 mm while it should have at lease 0,038 mm.

Risk Description

This product poses a serious risk of suffocation because the bag made of flexible plastic with an opening perimeter greater than 380 mm has an average sheet thickness of 0,017 mm while it should have at lease 0,038 mm. The detected defect poses a high risk for children. Covering the face by a thin plastic can lead to suffocation. This toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
