Pull-along toy snail was recalled on 2 May 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0478/08. Choking, Suffocation risk reported by Poland. The product poses a risk of :- choking due to small parts (parts of antennae) which fit into the small parts cylinder, - suffocation due to the length of the cord, being 790 – 870 mm whereas it should not be longer than 220 mm.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of :- choking due to small parts (parts of antennae) which fit into the small parts cylinder, - suffocation due to the length of the cord, being 790 – 870 mm whereas it should not be longer than 220 mm. The product does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71.

Product Description
The toy is a snail made of violet coloured plastic which moves on four green wheels. There are also antennae - metal springs with yellow, plastic balls at the end. The cord is yellow with a violet handle. Dimensions of the toy: 220 x 70 x 140 mm. Length of cord: 790 – 870 mm and width approximately 2 mm. The packaging (225 x 140 x 750 mm) consists of a cardboard box with transparent, plastic “window” and the following markings and inscriptions: CE mark, “Made in China”, YOGO, No YG-8424-TO; FCT No 559, barcode, “Unsuitable for children under 3 years old” and a pictogram concerning age 0-3 restriction.
