Risk Description
This product poses a serious chemical risk because the pH levels are significantly lower than the classification limits laid down for corrosive preparations.The information provided on the label and on the safety data sheet does not reflect the real danger posed by the product. The product is corrosive and can therefore cause serious burns. However, the safety data sheet states that it can cause slight skin irritation after prolonged contact. The label contains the irritant symbol rather than the corrosive symbol, and the specific risk phrases are not shown.The pH test revealed levels (0.74 ± 0.08) that were significantly lower than the classification limits laid down for corrosive preparations (pH = 2).
