Risk Description
The solders in the product and its metal housing contain an excessive amount of lead (measured value: 48,3 % and 1.6 % by weight, respectively). Lead poses a risk to the environment and is harmful to human health, as it accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation and the requirements of the Commission Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
