Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 72 +/- 10 mg/kg of nickel.According to the Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008) 1, nickel levels in tattoo inks and permanent make-up must be as low as technically achievable as nickel has a high allergenic potential. The application under the skin of tattoo inks containing nickel results in permanent contact with a sensitising allergen. Also the product does not comply with the relevant National Standard.
