Risk Description
Due to faulty software in the traction battery control unit, false detection of cell voltage and/or battery temperature may occur. This may result in engine power being cut off by the safety system to prevent any damage to the traction battery, resulting in loss of drive, increasing the risk of an accident. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
