Risk Description
Due to an error in the software calibrations of the traction high voltage battery control unit, a false detection of the battery cell voltage and/or the battery temperature can occur. This can lead the failsafe system to cut the motor power to prevent any damage to the battery, causing a loss of drive. This can increase the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
