Risk Description
The plastic material of the doll contain bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 23.46% by weight) and di-butyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value: 3.12 % by weight ). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. It also contains di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP) (measured value 1.2% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles while the phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
