Power supply units was recalled on 23 March 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0271/07. Electric shock risk reported by Finland. This product poses a risk of electric shock because - there is not sufficient electrical insulation between the primary circuit connected to the mains and the secondary circuit that can be touched.

Risk Description
This product poses a risk of electric shock because - there is not sufficient electrical insulation between the primary circuit connected to the mains and the secondary circuit that can be touched. The secondary circuit can be touched via the product connected to the output of the power supply unit. In particular:- clearances/creepage distances in transformer T2 between the primary and the secondary windings are less than 4 mm/5 mm; a minimum of 0.2 mm between the primary winding and the output wires of the secondary winding and 0.5mm between the secondary winding and the output wires of the primary winding are measured; on the output wires there are not insulation tubes;- clearances/creepage distances in transformer T3 between the primary and the secondary windings are less than 4 mm/5 mm; a minimum of 0.3 mm between the primary winding and the output wires of the secondary winding and 0.3 mm between the secondary winding and the output wires of the primary winding are measured; on the output wires there are not insulation tubes.This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60950.
