Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the connecting lead used is of the type H05VV-F 3G 1.5mm2 instead of a H05RN-F connecting lead. The connecting lead used offers insufficient protection against the environmental effects which are to be expected;- the lamp has a connecting lead of 3.04 metres in length. A short lead of this kind is not sufficient for the lamp to be connected correctly and safely;- there is no IP number or symbol indicating the degree of protection on the product. Given that the product is intended, among other things, for outside use, it should bear a label indicating the degree of protection against ingress of moisture. The product does not comply with the relevant European standards EN 60238 and EN 60598.
