Portable gas heater was recalled on 16 April 2010 under EU Safety Gate alert 0658/10. Burns risk reported by The Netherlands. The product poses a risk of burns because the flames extinguish easily by a flow of air and because it is not so constructed that the gas leakage rate is not dangerous and that gas release after flame extinction is limited in order to avoid a dangerous accumulation of unburned gas.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of burns because the flames extinguish easily by a flow of air and because it is not so constructed that the gas leakage rate is not dangerous and that gas release after flame extinction is limited in order to avoid a dangerous accumulation of unburned gas. In addition, the instructions for use are not in Dutch which may lead to misuse of the product.The product does not comply with the Gas Appliances Directive and the relevant European standard EN 521.
