Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the plastic projectiles of the toy contain 8,3% by weight of di(2-etylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 1,8% by weight of Dibutyl - phthalate (DBP). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.Moreover, the product poses a risk of choking to children because the suction cups could be easily removed and swallowed by small children. The product does not comply with the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
