Risk Description

Due to moisture ingress in a connector housing, the internal pins can corrode. This can result in electrical malfunctions, such as parking brake engagement issues, start-up difficulties, loss of power steering assist or multiple warning messages. A loss of power steering assist increases the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
