Plug adaptor, travel adaptor was recalled on 25 May 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0471/07. Electric shock risk reported by Germany. The product poses a serious risk of electric shock because:- it is possible to make a connection between the pin of a plug and an active part of the adaptor socket while another pin can be touched;- the uninsulated pins of the plug with earthing contact can be touched when the plug is partially inserted into the adaptor socket;- it is possible to insert a plug for Class I devices (with earth terminal) into the adaptor socket, which is designed exclusively for the insertion of plugs for Class II devices (with protection of connections without earth terminal).

Risk Description
