The product poses a risk of:- choking because the toy breaks during testingt and some parts of the toy that detach fit within the small-parts cylinder,- injuries because the detached parts have sharp edges and points.

Product Description

The bear-shaped toy is made of red, white and yellow plastic. Approximate size of toy: 21 cm x 13 cm. The toy is packed into a cardboard box. Approximate size of packaging: 26 cm x 14 cm x 15 cm. There is "WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD-Small parts. Not for Children under 3 years." CE – mark.

About this risk

Choking: This product contains small parts that can detach and pose a choking hazard, or its size and shape make it dangerous for young children if swallowed or placed in the mouth. Injuries: This product has a design or manufacturing defect that can cause physical injuries such as cuts, bruises, fractures, or other bodily harm during normal use.

Recommended action

Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury.
