Plastic toys was recalled on 21 August 2009 under EU Safety Gate alert 1120/09. Cuts risk reported by Spain. The products pose a risk of cuts because they do not have sufficient mechanical resistance and can be easily broken resulting in sharp pieces.

The products pose a risk of cuts because they do not have sufficient mechanical resistance and can be easily broken resulting in sharp pieces. The products do not comply with the Toys Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71.

Product Description
- Space pistol: coloured pistol packed in a transparent plastic bag bearing the word ‘TOYS’ and a sticker with the CE mark and the importer information.- Guitars: 2008: the toy looks like an electric guitar. It is coloured, with various fruit on it on both the fret and the sound box. It is packed in a cardboard box on which is written ‘Music Guitar – 5005’. The sound box looks like an apple, it has fruit on it and a butterfly in the centre. The words ‘Apple Guitar’ are written on the box and on the back there is a lot of writing in English and a label with the importer information.- Piano: 2216: it looks like a strawberry and has animal faces on it with their names in English. The packaging consists of a cardboard box bearing the wording ‘Strawberry Piano’. On the back there is a lot of writing in English and a sticker with the importer information.
