Plastic toy – motorcycle with run-out device was recalled on 26 October 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 1112/07. Injuries risk reported by Latvia. The product poses a serious risk of injuries because cramp-iron for packing has sharp pointed endings on which child may scratch skin.

Risk Description

The product poses a serious risk of injuries because cramp-iron for packing has sharp pointed endings on which child may scratch skin. In addition, there is not sufficient marking and warnings on toy. The toy does not comply with the Toys Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

The corpus of toy is made of yellow plastic with red, silver and black surface coloration. The body of motorcyclist made of blue plastic. Wheels, steering wheel, exhaust of motorcycle is made of black/silver plastic. Tires are made of black elastic polymer. In toys are build in run-out devices. The corpus of toy is pasted over with colourful stickers. Toy is packed in transparent plastic bag closed with cardboard plate. Plate is fixed to bag with cramp-iron. Information on label: "OVERLORD CENTURY DESIGN. PARKAT TOYS. Rider superior... Ages 3 to adult. ! WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Nor for children under 3 years. CE. Made in China."
