Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 1.4% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 4% of di-"isononyl" phthalate (DINP).According to REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children. The product also poses a chemical risk because the film contains a high concentration of lead, 333 mg/kg.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 71.
