Risk Description
The plastic material of the product contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 3% by weight) and diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (36% by weight). The valve plug can easily detach and the plastic bag of the packaging is too thin. These phthalates may harm the health of children causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The valve plug may become detached while inflating the toy and obstruct the airways. If a child plays with the packaging, the plastic can cover the mouth and nose, causing the child to suffocate.The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation, the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
