Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 136 ppm of N-nitrosamine (N-ethyl-2-methyl-allyl nitrosamine) in the formulated product, corresponding to 388.02 ppm in the technical grade product which bears the nitrosamine. N-nitrosamines are known to be of particular toxicological concern because they can be activated to genotoxic carcinogens.The product does not comply with Directive 91/414/EEC as regards the placing of plant protection products on the market.

The plant protection product GAZEL 33,3EC is packed in bottles of HDPE or PET of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 litres. The product is being sold in plant shops and can be bought by any consumer without restriction.
