Risk Description
The black plastic material on the cable of the product contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) with measured value up to 0.4% by weight. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic toaquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk tohuman health and the environment. The product doesn't comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
