Risk Description

In some Captiva vehicles the retaining clip connecting the brake booster push rod with the brake pedal may not be installed. If this is a case the brake booster rod can be separated from the brake pedal-mounting pin by the repeated brake pedalling operation. In the consequence the loss of the braking function by the brake pedal is possible.
