Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries because the roof rails have been fitted to the roof with incorrect bolts. It cannot be excluded that when carrying roof cargo, the rails may come loose during heavy braking and/or sudden stopping. It was found that the bolts do not meet requirements following a tool change in the sub-supplier process. This caused less tread length on the bolts, which in turn lead to an insufficient clamping force in the joint.
