Risk Description
The product poses a risk of:- injury because it may suffer fuel loss due to rupture of the high pressure fuel pipe. This is due to the poor quality of the rubber used in the high pressure fuel pipe clamp. As a result, the engine may cut out while the vehicles are being driven on public highways and cause a traffic accident;- fire because the fuel escaping from the supply line may end up being atomised at high pressure and once in contact with the hottest parts of the engine, such as the exhaust manifolds, could start a fire through ignition of the gaseous mix. This might affect other key systems of the car whose power supply derives from the running engine.
