Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries because a damaged dual transistor may have been used in the manufacture of the central control unit for the electronic capture, processing and transmission of signals (Signal Acquisition and Actuation Module – Front (SAM-F)). Further thermal stress, together with humidity, could lead to failure of one or both parts of the transistor, resulting in loss of operation of the centre console lighting or the headlamps, direction indicators, windscreen wipers and steering wheel adjustment.
