Risk Description
The vacuum pump could fail in service. This failure instantly stops vacuum being produced and over a number of braking applications will reduce the amount of vacuum available for the servo. Also at the time of failure the turbo malfunctions: this reduces available engine torque at the time of vacuum failure.
