Risk Description
The dual mass flywheel may become damaged due to the configuration of the restrictor passage in the bleeder valve in the hydraulic pressure line for clutch actuation. This can happen if the clutch is engaged very abruptly, for instance if the pedal is allowed to spring back by itself. After causing unusual mechanical noises, the dual-mass flywheel will eventually fail completely. In unfavourable conditions this can lead to a fire in the vehicle.
