Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because : - the switch housing has not been sealed to the pump housing. This would be prone to splashing and allow the harmful ingress of moisture,- the unit has not been marked with maximum and minimum fill levels. Overfilling could allow water to enter the switch housing, creating a shock hazard, while underfilling could cause the pump to overheat. The pump and the washer do not comply with the requirements for marking.In addition, the instruction manual is considered to be inadequate.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
