Risk Description

The electrical supply to and software for the additional heating is not correctly designed and the heater can shut off too soon when the vehicle is switched off. This can lead to fuel remaining in the heater, producing smoke and fuel leaks increasing the risk of fire. The product does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
