Paradoks was recalled on 26 May 2023 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/01208/23. Electric shock risk reported by Croatia. The clearance and creepage distances between the primary and accessible secondary circuits are not sufficient and there is only one layer of tape between the primary and the secondary windings.

Risk Description
The clearance and creepage distances between the primary and accessible secondary circuits are not sufficient and there is only one layer of tape between the primary and the secondary windings. Furthermore, the dielectric strength of the transformer is insufficient. The user could touch accessible live parts and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 62368-1.
