Risk Description

The soother-holder is too long and could get wrapped around the child's neck, causing strangulation. The clip of the soother-holder can easily break, generating small parts. A small child may put these parts in the mouth and choke.In addition, there is a gap near the clip where the child's fingers could be trapped. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 12586.

Soother-holder made of different fabric designs with a metal clip. No packaging, but a cardboard label is attached to the product.

This product contains small parts that can detach and pose a choking hazard, or its size and shape make it dangerous for young children if swallowed or placed in the mouth.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
