Risk Description
The gear lever may break at the weld area, whereupon users may have difficulty changing or selecting gear and may be unable to proceed. If this happens when the motor is running and in gear, it is possible to reduce speed, stop the engine and manoeuvre, but collisions may occur because the craft is drifting.The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive and the Recreational Craft Directive.There have been six breakdowns of this kind reported worldwide.
