The welding is not sufficiently strong. The frame can therefore break apart due to the weakness at the centre of the bicycle frame. This could cause the rider to fall, which could lead to injuries. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive.

Electric bicycle, various OPTIMA models, manufactured in 2019 and 2020. The batch number “19A” can be identified through a stamped code located on the frame, in the lower part of the vertical tube, below the barcode.
