NX200, NX200t and NX300h was recalled on 13 January 2017 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/0014/17. Injuries risk reported by Portugal. Due to improper programming of the brake control module, there is a possibility that under certain conditions the parking brake may not be set automatically when the brake hold system is deactivated (as designed).

Risk Description
Due to improper programming of the brake control module, there is a possibility that under certain conditions the parking brake may not be set automatically when the brake hold system is deactivated (as designed). If this occurs, and the transmission is left in a gear other than “Park” or "Reverse", the vehicle could creep forward or backward.
