The product poses a risk of burns and fire because it is attractive to children.The product does not comply with the Commission Decision 2006/502/EC prohibiting the placing on the market of novelty lighters.

The lighters are shaped like red fire hydrants. They are not child-resistant, which is mandatory since 11 May 2008.
