Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cover does not have sufficient mechanical strength and easily comes off exposing the bulb;- the fixing screws on the cover are neither captive nor of a special type requiring the use of a specific tool;- the insulation resistance is not sufficient;- the plastic is not sufficiently resistant to heat. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description
Nightlight with internal bulb protected by a transparent plastic case, direct mains plug and frontal on-off switch. The packaging is a blister pack with a transparent plastic front and a cardboard back marked inter-alia "Made in China, CE, 6A 250 50/60 Hz 3w, Ref 11865" and bar code.
