Nightlight was recalled on 31 October 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1274/08. Electric shock risk reported by Slovenia. The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cover of the nightlight may break leaving live parts accessible,- the enclosure of the nightlight type FH-105 may be scorched after prolonged use,- the height of the letters and numerals on the marking plate is 1.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cover of the nightlight may break leaving live parts accessible,- the enclosure of the nightlight type FH-105 may be scorched after prolonged use,- the height of the letters and numerals on the marking plate is 1.3 mm (required at least 2 mm).The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598. One incident reported.

Product Description

The nightlights have a circular cover. The cover of type FH-104 is made of white plastic and the cover of type FH-105 is transparent. Dimensions: cross-section of the cover is 4 cm, nightlight type FH-105 has day/night sensor.
