The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 97.3% methyl metacrylate (MMA). In its assessment, the Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung (BfR, Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) considers the presence of methyl metacrylate (MMA) in concentrations of 80-90 % in such cosmetics to be strongly sensitising.
