Risk Description
The product's adaptor has insufficient insulation. The user could touch accessible live parts and receive an electric shock. Moreover, the mains supply cord has excessive resistance and the live and earthing pins of the product are too short and close to the periphery of the plug. This may prevent the plug from making a secure connection with the socket. This could lead to poor contact, resulting in overheating and causing fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
