„My Baby“ was recalled on 22 October 2021 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/01446/21. Choking risk reported by Lithuania. The trolley has protruding tubes which are not covered by protective caps, the doll's hair bands are too small, the hands and feet of the doll and the battery compartment can easily be detached, leaving the electrical wires exposed.

Risk Description

The trolley has protruding tubes which are not covered by protective caps, the doll's hair bands are too small, the hands and feet of the doll and the battery compartment can easily be detached, leaving the electrical wires exposed. All these small pieces a child can put in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

Doll made of soft plastic with blue eyes. The doll's hair is tied with rubber bands into the braids, a hard plastic soother is inserted into the mouth, a battery box is inserted in the back of the toy (there are three LR-44 type batteries). A pink stroller is attached to the doll.

About this risk

This product contains small parts that can detach and pose a choking hazard, or its size and shape make it dangerous for young children if swallowed or placed in the mouth.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
