Risk Description
The plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), (measured values: 2.1 % by weight). Phthalates may harm the health of children, possibly causing damage to the reproductive system.A plastic cord in the product has an excessive concentration of short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value: 1.2 % by weight).The solders in the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value: 58 % by weight). Lead poses a risk to the environment. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive) nor with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation.
