Risk Description

The sound pressure level is too high (measured value: up to 119,5 dB). This could lead to permanent or partial hearing loss, when the product is used. The toy maracas can easily break into small parts. A small child may put them in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-1.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
