Risk Description

The bars of the xylophone and the pins holding them onto the sound box easily come off. A child could put either of them in the mouth and choke on them. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

Toy xylophone with orange base, eight keys in different colours and a green baton. The toy is packaged in a plastic blister and cardboard packaging.

This product contains small parts that can detach and pose a choking hazard, or its size and shape make it dangerous for young children if swallowed or placed in the mouth.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well.
