Multi-socket extension cord was recalled on 17 August 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0843/07. Fire risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of overheating and fire because:- the sockets exert insufficient pressure, which prevents the plug pins remaining in place,- it is impossible to insert the pins into some sockets,- the section of the cable is less than required in the standard.
