The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the dimensions of the sockets do not meet the requirements, so it is possible to establish contact with a peg of a plug in live parts of the base while the other peg is accessible,- the cross section of the measured cable is 1 mm², and the cable is marked with the indication that the cross section measures 1.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the dimensions of the sockets do not meet the requirements, so it is possible to establish contact with a peg of a plug in live parts of the base while the other peg is accessible,- the cross section of the measured cable is 1 mm², and the cable is marked with the indication that the cross section measures 1.5 mm².The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) or the relevant national standard UNE 20315.

The product in question is a multi-socket adapter with a switch and an extension lead. The base has three sockets. The switch is red. The product comes in blister packaging. The front of the box reads, among other things: F-Line. Reference: 1001631. 3-WAY SOCKET WITH SWITCH.
