Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries because the inner cover of the casing for the throttle position sensor (TPS) may not be properly sealed to the outer cover, and allow damp to penetrate. The TPS can therefore produce incorrect signals, causing the following problems:1.-The emission of exhaust gases may exceed the maximum permitted. 2.-At low speed, or when the vehicle is coming to a halt, engine deceleration is unstable and the engine may stall, following which it is difficult to restart. There is therefore the risk of a traffic accident because, should the engine stop at low speed when a gear is engaged and the motorcycle is in movement, the rider may lose balance and fall, particularly bearing in mind the considerable weight of this kind of motorcycle.
